It's Just Another New Years Eve...

For those of you who are spending New Year's Eve alone at home,

"Don't look so sad, it's not so bad you know.
It's just another night, that's all it is,
It's not the first, it's not the worst you know,
We've come through all the rest, we'll get through this.

We've made mistakes, but we've made good friends too.
Remember all the nights we spent with them?
And all our plans, who says they can't come true?
Tonight's another chance to start again.

It's just another New Year's Eve,
Another night like all the rest.
It's just another New Year's Eve,
Let's make it the best.
It's just another New Year's Eve,
It's just another Auld Lang Syne,
But when we're through this New Year
You'll see, WE'LL be just fine.

We're not alone, we've got the world you know.
And it won't let us down, just wait and see.
And we'll grow old, but think how wise we'll grow.
There's more you know, it's only New Year's Eve.

It's just another New Year's Eve,
Another night like all the rest.
It's just another New Year's Eve,
Let's make it the best.
It's just another New Year's Eve,
It's just another Auld Lang Syne,
But when we're through this New Year
You'll see, WE'LL be just fine.

Happy New Year everyone, I'm rooting for you ;)

Re-inventing my life every day...

I was asked to translate my last post so for those of you who requested it here it is with a few minor changes...

Every morning when I wake up after doing various things that have become a lovely routine like sharing some ‘mates’ and ‘tostadas con manteca’ which is the way he refers to buttered toast with a great friend of mine and walk my little Dieguito, I begin to review and feel an enormous sense of gratitude for what I accomplished, created, lived, experienced, learned, taught, helped, asked for help, won, lost, gave and received the day before, making sure that way that all my efforts to live a full day weren’t in vain, and then I proceed to re-invent my day again.

Taking responsibility for my own happiness and not wanting to stagnate is not a simple task, since it requires motivation, discipline, mental, emotional and physical work constantly, while trying to maintain at all costs a balanced life.

We are beginning a “New Era” so much has been said about this for so many years, speculations about what will happen, but in reality none of us knows what awaits us until it actually happens, I made so many plans and speculations of what I would be doing on this day and reality was very different. I decided to go at the last moment to a relatively remote area surrounded by nature where there is a Geyser that spits out  intensely hot water with a huge amount of minerals  that have relaxing and curative properties.

What will happen to me next year, or in a decade? How could I possibly know that if I don’t know what I will be doing in the next ten minutes.

The 21st of December was a very important date for all humanity and I was alone, secluded at a hot mineral water pool resort, ate mexican food, shared some time with strangers who became friends, watched a movie on my computer, wrote and read a bit and then the 22nd came along and I was re-inventing my day all over again.

May your days be filled with hope, love, balance and harmony.

Happy New Year 2013 everyone! I'm rooting for y'all!

Felices Fiestas a TODOS!

Un abrazo con amor xoxo

Everywhere I look, I find LOVE...

Would you believe I took this photograph off my patio floor?
My cute little 'Wish Granters' (is there such a word?) jajaja
All I know is that LOVE IS EVERYWHERE, you just have to be ready and able to give it!

My love to everyone out there.

I just wanted to remind 'YOU'...

"Shake the burden of seeing your baby steps as a necessary discipline.

See them instead as optional dance moves in life's conga line, that spark miracles, open floodgates, and lead to the near effortless manifestation of 'DREAMS'."

I still carry you in my Heart Every Day of My Life!

Nothing I have EVER seen has touched me as much as you did Darius. I had a younger brother, his name was David and he died of Duchenne at the young age of 14. He was like you, an AMAZING bright guy, but he wasn't as blessed as you are to have had the friends, the support, and to live to an age where he could experience some of these amazing JOYS of life. So now I live for him and for me and for all those who didn't get a chance. Keep on ENJOYING YOUR LIFE! it's like MAGIC!

Hugs and kisses to you xoxo

Life on Broadway

‎'LIFE ON BROADWAY" With this posting I started my Blog back on December 2007, I created this blog just to express to myself the way I was feeling and to be the witness to my own life adventure, since all of a sudden I found myself playing totally different roles to those I had played my whole life...

A lot has changed since and I'm so glad I've been keeping track =)

December 17, 2007

"Life on Broadway"

I’m 22 years old and I’m about to start playing my first “Adult” role, in a way I’ve been preparing for this role my whole life, so when the Rabbi said “I now pronounce you husband and wife” I know I’m ready for the part.

We live in a small studio apartment where we can barely store the few things that we have, we save the change because sometimes we don’t have enough money to take the bus to work, but we make every day an adventure, because we know that the role we are playing is just preparing us for bigger and better ones.

We have places to go, people to meet along the way and a lot to learn, and we try to stay true and focused and in total alignment with our dreams.

The years go by and as we begin to feel comfortable with the roles we’ve been playing, we audition for more challenging parts and hope that we can play them just as well and enjoy them just as much, and all of a sudden we find ourselves winning awards, buying our dream home, taking the trips, buying the clothes for each one of the parts we are playing, raising the kids, running the businesses, and we forget about the small studio apartment and the bowl of change, it feels good to have more, it begins to take precedent over the dream, so since it feels so good, what about having more, I’m sure it will feel better, and we begin to forget where we came from, how far we’ve come, and most of all, we forget to be grateful for what we have, instead we are never content because we always want more, and one day I turn 52 and it was all gone. Don’t ask me where it all went, all I knew is that it was no longer mine, none of it, well maybe a few photo albums and knick knacks that tell the story of my life.

Now I’m 55, back in a lovely 3 story townhouse, I call it my fancy Hotel Suite, not ready to unpack here and get all comfortable because it’s just a brief moment of my life. I have a new career that I like. My children just completed High School; my daughter will be going to a great University and my son and I will soon pack and continue our journey.

What happens to us when we find ourselves in situations like this is that we simply forget how to play the roles. We already played them at least once, if not many more times, and not because I’m 55 does it mean I can’t play the role anymore, we can play ANY role we want, and we must, if we want to see ourselves playing every role we want before we die and fulfilling every dream. So here is the formula that works for me.
For the fulfillment of all your dreams all you have to do is remember that
“The Main Thing is to keep The Main Thing, The Main Thing!”~Anita~
Do you know what “The Main Thing” is for you? I do!

Directions:

If you think of life as a 'Broadway Play', you can clearly see how perfectly it is all orchestrated.

We spend our lives either auditioning for a part, or rehearsing a part, or playing the part. And hopefully as we get older, we pick the parts that we would like to play so that night after night, and day after day, when we are up on that stage, we can not only enjoy the role that we are playing, but so that the people who are watching us, enjoy it so much, that we can get standing ovations and derive harmony from this in all aspects of our lives.

So while you get offered the role you want to play, this is what you have to do:

Act the part
Act as if you are already there
Act proud
Act wealthy
Act happy
Act funny
Act energetic
Act generous
Act honest
Act spiritual
But most of all act grateful

And then by Miracle, the part will come, and you’ll already be an expert at how to enjoy this game of life, because of how well you rehearsed and acted even before you were offered to “Play the Part.”

So like they say “Fake it till you Make It!” and don’t ever look back, you might be missing something that’s right in front of you.

What part should I audition for now?....

Politics and Religion...Oh My!!!

The main reason I don’t vote is because I don’t know enough about politics, I’ve never really been interested in it, in my humble opinion it doesn’t seem to work very well. If I were the ''President of The World'' you can be sure I’d do things a lot different. And I believe that unless I take the time to learn and decide to educate myself more on the subject, it would be irresponsible of me to cast a vote.

Same thing happens to me with religion. Now that we have all the access to information that came about with the new 'Computer Era', there is so much that you would have to read to become well informed to make an educated decision on what seems to make the most sense, that the best I have found that works for me is at least exposing myself to as much knowledge about the different religions as I can, simply to be able to pick and chose the teachings that I like about each one of them, and build a religion of my own.

My experience with organized religion has been interesting. I was born a Jew with two great-grandfathers who were Rabbis and in a mostly catholic country, was raised by my very Jewish family and a nanny that was like a second mother to me, a tiny Mexican woman who was as Catholic as they come. So I went to Temple and I went to Church too. I love the traditions of my people and have always celebrated all the holidays and always will, but I never considered myself a religious person, rather a spiritual one. I find good things in most religions, and some I don’t believe in, so I don’t adopt them in my lifestyle.

I dated a guy who was a hardcore Scientologist, so I decided to expose myself to a bit of that as well. It too has some good teachings but only on the practical day to day life, some that don’t apply to the way I see life, although I failed to find the religious aspect of it, and some things were extremely strange, more like weird to say the least, so I adopted what I liked like how to better learn or communicate with people, and left the rest for those who believe in it.

Now I’m exposed to the Laws of the Universe, and that makes the most sense to me, because it explains my whole life. Before I was confused as to why some things had happen to me, and now I totally understand why. I recently started to learn Kabbalah and this 'Science' as the Kabbalists refer to it is totally new to me so I'm curious as to what it's all about.

If you ask me, I think the “Laws of the Universe” should become a religion, that way you get more people interested in doing the right thing as a group, helping each other by re-enforcing and strengthening their beliefs, and I would definitely vote for that!

To your continuous harmony

Dreams. they are never in the place you expected them to be...

"I have led such a little life,
I have allowed myself to lead this little life,
when inside me there is so much more.
And it has all gone unused, and now it never will be.
Why do we get all this life if we don't ever use it?
Why do we get all these feelings and dreams and hopes if we don't ever use them?
That is how Shirley Valentine disappeared to,
she got lost in all this unused life."

I'll wait another 5 mins. for you if I Have To =)

We all have a different idea of what we would want our 'Perfect Life Partner' to be like, today I decided to make a list of the characteristics I look for in a relationship. I have a clear vision of what they are but have never done the exercise of writing them down.

I started with the obvious ones so as not to forget anything and was curious to see if it would be a long or short list, to cover everything I went on YouTube, searched for the words 'Perfect Mate' and this video was the second of the list, since I like what 'Abraham' has to say decided to watch it and voila!!! there it was, the perfect description, I couldn't have said it better myself!

So thank you 'Abraham' for describing my "Perfect Life Partner'
"I'll wait another 5 mins. for him if I Have To" ;)

May you all find your "Perfect Life Partner'

Have you checked your trunk lately?...

"árbol que crece torcido jamás su tronco endereza"

"As the twig is bent, so grows the tree"

It's the same with all nature including human nature,
one starts developing 'wrong' attitudes and attributes,
they might feed a need for a while,
we become addicted to them,
they turn into habits,
and its unlikely that we are going to change.

We must work on ourselves,
We MUST be the difference
We want to see in OUR lives,
While conquering that

We can be the difference in others lives!

The Twelve Pathways to the Higher Consciousness Planes

I stumbled into this article and thought it was worthy of posting in its entirety.

If you take the time to read it and absorb everything it says you will realize it's common
sense. Why suffer doing what doesn't work rather find what works
and do that =)

Hope it resonates with you as well.

The following is from the higher consciousness classic,
Handbook to Higher Consciousness by Ken Keyes, Jr.
which explains the Living Love system to higher consciousness.

                    T H E T W E L V E P A T H W A Y S
                      To the Higher Consciousness Planes
                      of Unconditional Love and Oneness

        FREEING MYSELF

         1. I am freeing myself from security, sensation, and power
addictions that make me try to forcefully control situations
in my life, and thus destroy my serenity and keep me from
            loving myself and others.

         2. I am discovering how my consciousness-dominating
addictions create my illusory version of the changing world
of people and situations around me.

         3. I welcome the opportunity (even if painful) that my
minute-to-minute experience offers me to become aware of the
addictions I must reprogram to be liberated from my robot-like
            emotional patterns.

        BEING HERE NOW

         4. l always remember that I have everything I need to enjoy my
here and now -- unless I am letting my consciousness be
dominated by demands and expectations based on the dead past
            or the imagined future.

         5. I take full responsibility here and now for everything I
experience, for it is my own programming that creates my
actions and also influences the reactions of people around
            me.

         6. I accept myself completely here and now and consciously
experience everything I feel, think, say, and do (including
my emotion-backed addictions) as a necessary part of my
            growth into higher consciousness.

        INTERACTING WITH OTHERS

         7. I open myself genuinely to all people by being willing to
fully communicate my deepest feelings, since hiding in any
degree keeps me stuck in my illusion of separateness from
            other people.

         8. I feel with loving compassion the problems of others without
getting caught up emotionally in their predicaments that
are offering them messages they need ior their growth.

         9. I act freely when I am tuned in, centered, and loving, but
if possible I avoid acting when I am emotionally upset and
depriving myself of the wisdom that flows from love and
            expanded consciousness.

        DISCOVERING MY CONSCIOUS-AWARENESS

        10. I am continually calming the restless scanning of my
rational mind in order to perceive the finer energies that
enable me to unitively merge with everything around me.

        11. I am constantly aware of which of the Seven Centers of
Consciousness I am using, and I feel my energy,
perceptiveness, love and inner peace growing as I open all
            of the Centers of Consciousness.

        12. I am perceiving everyone, including myself, as an awakening
being who is here to claim his or her birthright to the
higher consciousness planes of unconditional love and oneness.

        ****************************************************************
The following is from a classic of the higher consciousness
frontier: The Handbook to Higher Consciousness by Ken Keyes,
Jr. which explains the Living Love system to higher
        consciousness.

                       THE SEVEN CENTERS OF CONSCIOUSNESS

        1. THE SECURITY CENTER.
This Center makes you preoccupied with food, shelter, or
whatever you equate with your personal security. This
programming forces your consciousness to be dominated by your
continuous battle to get "enough" from the world in order to
        feel secure.

        2. THE SENSATION CENTER.
This Center is concerned with finding happiness in life by
providing yourself with more and better pleasurable sensations
and activities. For many people, sex is the most appealing of
all sensations. Other addictive sensations may include the
sound of music, the taste of food, etc.

        3. THE POWER CENTER.
When your consciousness is focused on this Center, you are
concerned with dominating people and situations and increasing
your prestige, wealth, and pride -- in addition to thousands of
more subtle forms of hierarchy, manipulation, and control.

        4. THE LOVE CENTER.
At this Center you are transcending subject-object relationships
and are learning to see the world with the feelings and
harmonies of flowing acceptance. You see yourself in everyone
-- and everyone in yourself. You feel compassion for the
suffering of those caught in the dramas of security, sensation,
and power. You are beginning to love and accept everyone
        unconditionally -- even yourself.

        5. THE CORNUCOPIA CENTER.
When your consciousness is illuminated by this Center, you
experience the friendliness of the world you are creating. You
begin to realize that you've always lived in a perfect world.
To the degree that you still have addictions, the perfection
lies in giving you the experience you need to get free of your
emotion-backed demands. As you reprogram your addictions, the
perfection will be experienced as a continuous enjoyment of the
here and now in your life. As you become more loving and
accepting, the world becomes a "horn of plenty" that gives you
more than you need to be happy.

        6. THE CONSClOUS-AWARENESS CENTER.
It is liberating to have a Center from which your
Conscious-awareness watches your body and mind perform on the
lower five centers. This is a meta-center from which you
non-judgmentally witness the drama of your body and mind. From
this Center of Centers, you learn to impartially observe your
social roles and life games from a place that is free from fear
        and vulnerability.

        7. THE COSMIC CONSCIOUSNESS CENTER.
When you live fully in the Sixth Center of Consciousness, you
are ready to transcend self-awareness and become pure awareness.
At this ultimate level, you are one with everything -- you are
love, peace, energy, beauty, wisdom, clarity, effectiveness, and
        oneness.

When Somebody Loved Me...

For some odd reason I've been watching children's movies again more frequently, hadn't done that for years but keep on bumping into them, I guess they are trying to tell me something so I wind up watching and they have told me more than I ever expected to get from them.

Take this song from Toy Story "When Somebody Loved Me" you would have to be made out of Wood (no pun intended) ;) not to cry or at least get emotional after you watch this video, even a Wooden Toy cries at this ;)

So many decades and so many experiences that turn you into a different person but the minute you begin watching these movies that bring back all the hidden memories of your childhood you realize that inside nothing has changed, you just perceive it differently according to your life circumstances at the moment. You just have to stop and remember!

I watched the full version of the original Pinocchio by Walt Disney the other day and it transported me into this magical world, I remember feeling this same way the first time I saw it, just listen to the first song "When you Wish Upon a Star" and the concept of a conscience that even though he was entrusted with this wooden puppet making the right decisions, he has NO control over the decisions he makes. I guess he just wasn't paying attention to what his conscience was saying, he just wanted to have FUN! ;)

No matter how old you are the child inside you is still there, still the same, you never stop wanting, desiring, dreaming, loving, caring, feeling, in fact the emotions become deeper because you've experienced so many of them and because you realize you have less time to enjoy them. It's never too late to "Wish Upon a Star" because "When You Wish Upon a Star, it makes no difference who You are, anything Your heart desires will come to YOU!"

Dreams DO come true, go make yours happen....

Bienvenidos!

I've lived in places so small that every time we came in or went out and closed the door the furniture would rearrange themselves =)

I remember at 22 when I  got married our first tiny studio in Mexico City where my birthday gift from my husband was that he would re-arrange my closet because I hated doing that, it was so small that there was no room to put anything and I don't like to be messy. I loved him for doing that, it was much better than any material gift to me.

I also lived in big houses, in one, to communicate with my kids, we would do it through messenger, I kid you not!!! though it does make me laugh out loud just to think of those times, it's like a different person lived that life.

Now these are my humble surroundings and I don't think I've ever loved a house so much. The house is very old and to go to the bathroom you have to go out into this patio and go into the bathroom.

This is what my patio looked like back in March when my two kids came to visit me, I had the whole patio decorated to make them feel welcomed and warm in their own home. I wound up taking down all the paper decorations for logical reasons but those "BIENVENIDO" balloons that are made out of thin foam are still hanging in all their glory welcoming anyone who crosses that door, they especially welcome me and my little dog Diego every time we go out for a walk. I love feeling "Bienvenida" in my own home, and I'm always so grateful to be able to have all these life experiences.

I hope you have this feeling too, you never get tired of it.

NEVER thought it could happen to me...

Experiencing life with a Sociopath. I'm just starting to realize the magnitude of that. I knew there was something wrong with that man but I took it as a challenge to try and help him come out of the shadow I noticed he was under from his actions, but I had NO idea I was dealing with a Sociopath, though I'd heard the term, never felt the need to research what it was since I don't go through life expecting to encounter mental illness, the common ones, there are tons of family members/friends who have suffered one or another, even I did 30+ yrs. ago, it's not something you forget even if you never feel it again the memories remain, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, obsessions, paranoia, narcissism, even have friends from childhood with adult schizophrenia, but never Sociopathy, what was that? I wouldn't have recognized it because I didn't know its characteristics.

So with my open and inquisitive personality I asked this man from the very beginning if he would allow me to tell him what I saw in him, how I viewed his actions, to be his mirror in a way since I believe there has to be someone in your life who does that for you otherwise you might be looking at yourself and not noticing something if nobody tells you its there, it's like having a bugger on your cheek, or a piece of cilantro caught on your front tooth, or even having your skirt stuck up your underwear after you went to the bathroom before entering the movie and you come out where your handsome date is waiting for you and you have your skirt up your underwear and nobody told you about it, well is it any different if say you are being evil in the way you speak to the waitresses if they don't do things exactly as you asked them, should I just sit there and witness this, see the waitress walk away with the skirt up her underwear or should I defend her since she doesn't have it in her to do it for whatever reason, or should I just tell this man why do you talk to people in a condescending way? Why can't we take responsibility to try and make others see what they are doing wrong, not to judge them, just to awaken them to the fact that they are doing something that disrespects others and we are all one, so if you disrespect others you disrespect yourself at the same time. It's common sense, as simple as that. That IS your Karma!

What gave it away was the fact that I was investing time and emotion into helping someone who was actually reacting the opposite way that you would expect someone who is trying to awaken as he claimed he was, and like Eckardt Tolle tries to explain, that to those that chose to stay in the dark, the light can be very painful, I just went in and out once I saw that my efforts were going to waste, I don't waste time on anything anymore. I gifted him with my absence since he was unable to appreciate my presence.

The point here is that I went in without fear because I didn't know I was dealing with mental instability, with something that I could have stood on my head and sing the National Anthem and wouldn't have made one bit of a difference, I just couldn't understand why he was acting the way he did, it was like something I had never experienced, something very uncomfortable if you will, but because I had no fear I pushed all of his buttons and beat him at his own game, even I couldn't believe it after I found out what he was, where otherwise perhaps if I'd known I would have never been exposed to this amazing learning experience. Believe me parts of it were amazing, I would never want to miss them.

I'm not sorry about the experience, but I do wish I'd known about it, I think it would have taken the edge off, I might have enjoyed it better, less pain is always good when you're having a life adventure, someone could have said something to me, everyone knew what he was like I told all my friends and family members, and even have Drs. in the family, I found out by Serendipity, I don't care how many illnesses there are, I don't think sick. Now that I know I'd recognize one just by the look in their eyes, their words, it wouldn't happen to me again for sure, but if it did once it can happen to anyone, so lookout, a lot of people have mental problems in this day and age, it's the way we choose to live, I don't subscribe to that anymore, I'd rather live in an island, with my soulmate of course ;)

Here's hoping it never happens to you, although the truth is that I wouldn't have wanted to miss this experience, but just so you know, their aim is to drain your self esteem and control you, you should read about it, I bet that you'll recognize someone from your past or even your present. Good luck with that. All I can say is YOU BETTER START RUNNING!

If you want to know what they are like I'll leave you this link, you will find every answer to every question you might have regarding Borderline Personality Disorder or Sociopathy. Borderline Personality Disorder

Here is one sample of the MANY things I experienced, would you have wanted to miss that? I LOVE this picture, I have to enter it into some competition =)

So many wonderful quotes, this is from one of my favorite spirituality authors/speakers/teachers

"With everything that has happened to you, you can either feel sorry for yourself or treat what has happened as a gift. Everything is either an opportunity to grow or an obstacle to keep you from growing. You get to choose!"~ Wayne W. Dyer

You are ONE of a kind...

In order for a video like this to work you really have to believe you are all of those things so watch it carefully and ask yourself a very important question, am I really all of those things, do I believe it?

If you don't believe it now, become it, and next time when you have to go look for a job, instead of sending a Curriculum send them this video and tell them, "I'm all that, now will you hire me?" ;)

Enjoy the process of getting there!

Hugs everyone xoxo

So that's Kabbalah? hm!

First of all even though I'm Jewish and proud of it I am NOT religious AT ALL nor have I ever been a true follower of any Organized Religion since they don't fit in the way I view life to be, but I do love the Traditions so I try not to miss any holidays, at least didn't while my kids were little, then moving to Israel allowed me to follow all of them, even if I didn't want to I didn't have any choice, that country my respects with the traditions, I mean on Yom Kippur for example the whole country comes to a standstill, it's pretty darn impressive, you feel like you're in some kind of a 'Twilight Zone' episode jajaja, no disrespect, just never experienced anything like that before in my life.

I remember traveling to Tzfat (spelled many many different ways), this little magical Hassidic town kept secret even from the Israelies for many years and where it is said in the Jewish religion that the Messiah will come from Tzfat on the way to Jerusalem (you can read more about it here) Tzfat - Safed We'd walk down the narrow stone streets of that town built on a mountain and Kabbalah's origins, I could spend hours telling you about the mysticism of that place but you really have to experience these places where time has in many ways stood still.

The point I'm making here is that I was curious about Kabbalah before I went to Tzfat, but once I was there I just had to know what it was all about, and especially because you hear so many things being said about it, like when they refer to it as the Mystical books of the Bible or The Hidden Books, you're not supposed to read them they said, or go deep into it you can go crazy, well that just triggered more and more curiosity for me of course so I went on a search where I could just briefly understand what it was without investing too much time on it and I found this site that totally vibrated at the exact same frequency that I have been for years.

I kept on saying exactly what I was reading on this free e-book, I re-read it and there it was, I always thought life was really easy, can't anyone see that? its giving what you do best and receiving from others what they do best, that's what I understand Kabbalah is saying to me, everyone calls me a dreamer and I seem to be the most awake, I don't get it, I'll leave it up to you to see what you think. I'm not saying I know everything AT ALL, in fact I probably know very little, but I DO know how it has worked for me Parallel Parked in a Perpendicular World

Kabbalah is NOT a religion, its just what life is, giving and receiving, it's THAT SIMPLE!

Kabbalah - What is it?

I don't particularly subscribe to any specific idea, religion, practice, indoctrination, science that I research, delve into, read, listen to, etc. the only thing I can go by is what I know has worked for me in my 'Life Adventure' my own intuition, whatever wisdom I've acquired over the years and keep on acquiring every day everywhere I look. I used to exist, like everyone does, NOW I LIVE AND I LOVE and to me that feels a lot better, it's THAT SIMPLE!

My love to everyone who reads me, and to those who don't, wherever and whomever you are I send you good Energy, that's the only kind I carry with me nowadays, it weighs a lot less and I like to travel ;)

"If I Knew Then, What I Know Now!"

There was an article my daughter sent to me January 18, 2011, exactly a year and a half ago, well I was cleaning my e-mails, too much clutter I don’t need in my life right now when I’ve become a minimizer and very little satisfies me very well, so I see this message of hers asking me to please please please read this article and to do it for her and we’d discuss it later.

Now I’m in the habit of reading everything my children take the time and effort to send to me because I love and respect their words and actions. I have learned so much from them, but this article must have gotten pushed down as new e-mails kept arriving and I had to tend to them and 1-1/2 yrs. passed and just when I was truly ready to read what was on this article it found me again, knocked at my door and said to me, “Hey you forgot about Me, remember me now? Are you ready to read me?”

I was actually quite excited to have found it and confessed to my daughter what had happened with it and she said, "well good that you found it, you must read it slowly and take it all in, this is the right time for you to read it", so I did and it just blew me away because I recognized so much of me in it, the good part is that even though all this information is pretty new to me, a lot to take in at once, my intuition has been telling me what to do. or maybe I've just been paying attention to what it says and how it feels and seems that finally, in my older age, I’m beginning to do the right thing intuitively.

it only took me 50+ yrs. to get it see? so I can’t possibly not do the right thing now that I know cause I am NOT willing to go through any more discomfort than absolutely necessary or waste one more second of my life, once I’ve gotten over to the other side of the river, nothing is keeping me from moving forward with the fulfillment of my dreams, as many as I can, otherwise it’s like we’ve always done, all of us, looking back and saying “If only I knew then what I know now, then I’d do it different to get better results” but that’s always hind-side, that doesn’t even count, since there is no hind-side, what’s important to remember is that NOW I KNOW BETTER, so if I ignore what I know from my own experiences, then don’t you think I deserve to get the pain and all that comes along with it? If you know now why do we keep on making the same mistakes over and over again, don’t you wonder? Here is a link to the article she sent to me, see how much of it if any, you can identify with.

Do you Love to be needed, or need to be Loved?

As with everything that I write, to whomever takes the time to read I send each and every one my Love. I receive quite a few anonymous comments, thank you for taking the time to do that, but if you ever want me to reply you must leave me your e-mail address.

LOVE is all there is, and that's that!

"Pure love has no conditions or boundaries.
Love does not restrain itself or hold back.

Shall we dance?

I LOVE this quote from the movie 'Shall We Dance?'

"We need a witness to our lives. There's over 7 billion people on the planet... I mean, what does any one life really mean? But in a marriage, you're promising to care about everything. The good things, the bad things, the terrible things, the mundane things... all of it, all of the time, every day. You're saying 'Your life will not go unnoticed because I will notice it. Your life will not go un-witnessed because I will be your witness."

"Necesitamos un testigo de nuestras vidas. Hay más de 7 billones de personas en el planeta... ¿Qué significa realmente una sola vida? Pero en el matrimonio, tu estás prometiendo cuidar de todo. Las cosas buenas y las cosas malas, las cosas terribles, las cosas mundanas... todo eso, todo el tiempo, todos los días. Estás diciendo que 'Tu vida no pasará desapercibida porque voy a presenciarla. Tu vida no estará sin testigo porque yo seré tu testigo'

Shall we dance?

¿Bailámos?

Where is MY Tom Hanks!

My heart is bohemian, free spirited and passionate. I'm the architect of my destiny, proud mother, closet wannabe producer, director, singer, actor and dancer, lover and friend.

My first name means 'Favored Grace', my last means 'Valley of Roses', put them together and you've got one graceful, sensitive yet sturdy flower with a few thorns in a vast open space.

I study faces and notice the rhythm that people move to, and the orchestra they create together.

I do things that feel right and those that will help me accomplish goals. Love using my senses, laugh and cry at movies, will watch any movie I can, and make up names for the people I love.

Travel the world and get lost on the streets of wonderful places where I manage to experience great adventures, press my snooze button twice, involuntarily open my mouth when applying mascara, love to dance, study body language for fun, talk to strangers to hear their stories, and learn or teach from all those who cross my path.

The one thing I will never do is 'Die with the music still inside of me'

Where is my Tom Hanks? FIND ME!

Love xoxo
