Today after I got home from work and finally settled in and began to write, while sitting in front of my computer reading some articles I spotted the little 'Cluster Map' that I added to my blog less than a month ago, just curious to see for fun if anyone in the "World was Watching ME," and to my surprise I noticed that for someone they don't know or care about, someone they might never meet, there were a lot of people watching from all parts of the world. Some have even taken the time to write to me, and leave me comments it's been very rewarding and a real eye opener!
At first it felt sort of strange, because when you expose your life to strangers, you make yourself vulnerable and open for judgement, but fortunately for me, like I said before in one of my blogs, "Who Cares?" I figure I harm nobody and maybe I can even help someone who is going through something difficult, maybe they can just come to my cyber-house to watch a short video, or listen to some music, or read one of my stories and smile. I know from the experience of living them, I've had many interesting stories, like we all do. Maybe some people just need someone to vent with who will listen to them, or someone who can witness a part of their story.
I like to listen to people's stories, they fascinate me because I always learn something from all of them, you can learn from the kind and the evil, the wise and the not so smart, you can even learn from crazy people. Lately I've been learning a lot from my new little puppy, not to mention my kids.
I write because I love to help people, I love to be part of the solution and not the problem and I believe we all have a lot to give and the obligation to give it.
We all have something we are good at, I am good at giving and I'm even learning how to receive ;o) now that's a biggie for me!
It feels good, have you tried it lately?
Go give, and then come back and tell me about it, I'll pat you in the back.
A lot of people don't know that there are two versions of "The Secret".
The original version which included Esther Hicks who channels Abraham was removed apparently because many people are not ready to understand channeling, which I believe is nothing too mystical or too weird, but rather a heightened sense of intuition that some people can tap into, where you open your perception and allow more through. Much like the energy that comes through for song writers, painters, sculptors, etc. a sense of inspiration.
I don't really understand what the big deal is, wouldn't people rather know that these things are possible? that we are all somehow connected? so we can live in a better world, ALL OF US? the way we were intended to live, rather than continue to remain ignorant and not experiencing life to our full potential? Or at the very least be given the option to decide for themselves whether they believe this is real or not?
I don't get it, can anyone explain that one to me? PLEASE!
I was listening to Barry Manilow’s songs tonight, they help and inspire me to keep on believing because I finally came to understand that all these people who had become GREAT at something, anything, were just people who believed, and whatever it is that I still want to become and haven’t yet, is because sometimes it’s hard to believe because you have been without for a while and you forget what it feels like to have.
As Daybreak started to play, for a moment I wondered if I would remember the words, it has been a long time since I last heard that song, I found that I did remember the words, for some reason I memorize many songs and never forget them, even in languages I don’t understand, but what I also noticed was that I never paid attention to the meaning of the words, and that this is not the first time that this happens to me with a song.
I even remember as an adult singing children’s songs to my kids, and as I was listening to the words that were coming out of my mouth, to see what I was teaching them, I paid attention to the meaning perhaps for the first time. It sure came as a surprise to me to realize I have done this many times throughout my life, so now I try to listen and pay attention to the meaning intended when the artists wrote and sang the songs, and try to imagine what was behind them.
Tonight I was having a particular enlightening type of an evening, and when I feel like that, songs seem to talk to me, and Day break sure did. And as I listen and sing and dance to this music, feeling it deep inside of me, I realize I’m already making it shine, shine, shine all around the world! YES IT’S DAY BREAK!
